Jesus said what you would it profit if you gained the whole world and lost your own soul Mark 8:36. There are three things which are offered to us on account of accepting the Lord Jesus as our personal Saviour and they are firstly, victory over the world. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”(1 John 5:4) Secondly Victory over sin. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he is that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (1 John 5:18). Thirdly we are given victory over death.” The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through Lord Jesus Christ ( 1 Cor. 15:56.57)

Having received these three gifts we become co-labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building (1 Cor. 3:9). And those who become co- labourers of Lord Jesus Christ become partakers of His heavenly kingdom and all things belong to Him. Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things

Let us remind ourselves of His Death, His Resurrection and Ascension through the three victories we encounter when we have faith in Him. We live in Him, of Him and By Him which is actually the meaning when Jesus said ” Without me you can do nothing “ John 15:5. Amen

to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ’s and Christ is God’s”(1 Cor 2:31-23). All having the assurance of possessing all these things have perfect peace in our hearts. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”(John 14:27).
